Engage or Quizmaker

May 19, 2011

Hello everyone,

I am brainstorming and outlining for an Overview presentation about the therapy associated with company's product and the refresher on the anatomy associated with it.

The rough outline is to guide the trainee through a hospital scene and using omniscient narration, view the patient through their treatment.  As side branches of the story to develop their background knowledge, I am inserting refreshers on anatomy.

For the anatomy refresher slide, my initial though was to display a heart with clickable hyperlinks to other hidden slides that display more information.  Then I thought quizmaker might be easier to create the graphics or Engage for a clickable picture?

In your opinion, what's the best option or any other ideas?  Thank you!

To be honest I've only created one lesson in Articulate but I used Quizmaker and Engage.  Quizmaker is, in my opinion, more flexible, especially if you are using Blank slides and you view them in slide view.  You can put content on blank slides, questions on question slides and do a lot of branching.  When I used Engage (again only one lesson so far), I felt I didn't have as much freedom.  You can see examples of what I'm talking about if you want to look at my lesson.  I'm actually new to the community and posted a thread asking for feedback.  Even if you don't want to offer feedback, it may be helfpul for you to see the blank slides in the Quizzes.

Hope it's helpful.
