First formal "Pecha Kucha" Poposal to client...

Hi,
Was talking to a client yesterday who I've built a 45-minute course for.
His client (the end-customer) said, "We also need a 5-minute version"..... (!)
The problem with that is that "...5-minute version..." is very loose, and does not put any boundaries really on what to do. It's very hard to "see" what this would look like.
Following on from my Opensesame blog entry I suggested a Pecha Kucha course, (20 slides, each 20-seconds long - so 6 minutes 40 seconds in total. No more, no less). Because there is some framework here, they can "visualise" the outcome much better, and we think they will go for this option. I think there's a lot of possibility in this for eLearning, so will let you know how it goes.

I love this idea Bruce - can't wait to hear how it turns out! And would love to see another example if you're willing to share
I will certainly let you know.

I wish I was more underhanded, I'd totally steal that idea Bruce. Very clever my friend, very clever.
Please feel free to steal.
It's just the "The Fool" characteristic (see http://www.fivefacesofgenius.com/overview.aspx#seer).
Take one thing from one discipline and apply it to another discipline.
Stealing would be EXACTLY in character with the concept !

PS - read "5 Faces of Genius", it opens up a whole world of eLearning fun
Hi Bruce,
I couldn't see your Pecha Kucha course. Would you mind sending the link to me?
Thanks,
Helena
Here you are.
