Giving Learners feedback according to a range of scores they get

Mar 03, 2022

Hello Team

I am trying to assign maturity levels to learners based on scores that they get but I cannot seem to achieve it. I have a quiz of 15 questions with a pass mark of 80%, if the learner scores below 80%, he is a novice, if he scores between 80 & 86.66, he is a baller, 93.33 a master, and 100 a grandmaster.

However, setting a trigger like the one below

"Show layer grandmaster When the timeline starts If Results1.ScorePoints = variable GRANDMASTER ", 'GRANDMASTER been a variable developed and assigned a value of 100 only returned a blank result slide to me.

The triggers only worked when I used Storyline defaults of < or > and the inbuilt variables. Is there any way I can make these conditions work?

It may be easier to just use the < & > instead of using variables to trigger your different layers to show.

Just make sure that each trigger range "butts" up against the next. e.g. 10-19, 20-29, 30-39....

In you explanation you have grandmaster at 100, and master at 93.33  (i'm assuming that is from 93.33 to 99.99).  then the next range would be 80-93.32  (not 86.66) because  If someone scored an 87 then no layer would be shown.
