I'm not sure if you can have a slide master with a layer. But, you can put the counter on your base layer and then add a trigger to hide it when a certain slide is reached (in this case, the last slide). The trigger will need to change the state of your textbox (containing the variables) to Hidden using the condition 'if slide number is equal to the total number of slide'.

I'm not sure about hiding Master layers, but you can probably cover it with a shape on that last slide.

Yes, you are right I moved the counter out of the slide master.
so I can control it well.
