How do I direct a student back to course content after wrong quiz anssewrs

Sep 04, 2022

Hi, it seems there should be a way to redirect students back to content when they answer quiz questions incorrectly.  MORE than just a "you got that wrong, here is a txt blurb on how to get the answer correct".

Specifically I want to direct them back the content so they can review it again before they attempt the question again.

Thanks in advance for any feedback, direction, and or advice!

You could add a button to the Incorrect layer that lightboxes the slide with the appropriate content.

  • If the content is on multiple slides, you'd need to have separate buttons for each slide (yeuch). Or you could include navigation in the lightbox. However, that could lead to other issues unless you add triggers and conditions to prevent the user from reaching something in the lightbox that they shouldn't -- like the test they're already in.

If the course uses the built-in Menu, the feedback could also tell them where to go to review content.

Of course, none of that prevents someone from just guessing answers until they get it right...
