Ideas for Adding Image to Notes?

Apr 21, 2011

I'm currently working on a course where I'm using the Notes section in the Sidebar as an area for supplemental information. I've noticed in PPT that when I view the presentation in "Notes View," I'm able to insert an image in the Notes section. However, this does not appear when I preview the course, which I assume is because it's just pasting the image on top of the entire slide and not necessarily into the Notes section.

I'd prefer not making additional slides with this information as I started out that way and it was taking me much too long. Any ideas for how I can do this without adding on too much extra work? I was thinking of hyperlinking to the image but I don't believe I can hyperlink text in the Notes area either.

Here is what I'm trying to do:

Hi Christina,

I think you would need to replace the notes swf for that slide I believe.  Once you publish, you go into the data folder, swf, then there is a folder for notes that contains the swfs for the notes.  You would need to create a swf with the image included, not too big though (can't tell you the exact size, you may need to experiment).  Then save the swf file to the exact name of the notes slide that you wish to replace and place in that folder.
