Importing into Canvas

Sep 01, 2023

Hi,

I'm new to Articulate and am designing my first course that will then be imported to Canvas. I have successfully imported what I did thus far, with one problem:

In my Articulate Rise 360 course I have multiple lessons. For instance, Lesson 1.1 will be assigned for Monday, lesson 1.2 for Tuesday, lesson 1.3 for Wednesday, etc. However, I cannot figure out how to import the Articulate course into Canvas in any way that doesn't lump it all as one lesson in Canvas.

Do I need to make a mini course for every lesson in the class (60+)? Or am I overlooking a way to import this into Canvas where all of the lessons aren't lumped under one individual Canvas lesson.

Thanks!

Hello Ignite Education Group! đź‘‹ Thanks for posting your question here. I'm not that familiar with Canvas, but from what I understand, when you launch a Rise 360 course, all the lessons you created within that course are visible. You could create section headers within your course to clarify the day of the week so learners know which lesson to view on a particular day. But if you want to separate them out, you can deliver bite-sized, single, objective-focused training with Microlearning. Perhaps someone in the community who has experience with Canvas might have another solution.
