Hi can someone please recommend the ideal spec laptop to enable us to create animated eLearning. We are using Articulate 360, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and would like to use the animation effects tool too. Previous discussions were over 5 years ago and may be a little dated.
For info, I got myself an HP ZBook Studio G4 mobile workstation with 16Gb RAM and an Intel Xeon processor and absolutely love it. I use Articulate and Photoshop and also do simulator scenario programming on it.
You might want to aim for something with multiple processor cores, such as an Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor, and a discrete graphics card - look for phrases like NVIDIA Quadro, NVIDIA GeForce, or AMD Radeon or Radeon Vega. You're going to want to target laptops identified as mobile workstations rather than something called an ultrabook.
Hope this gives you a good starting point, and don't hesitate to reach out if you need any more guidance.

Hello, Lesley. System requirements for Articulate 360 products are relatively modest and might give you a good start as far as technical specs. You can review them here: https://articulate.com/support/article/Combined-Tech-Specs-for-All-Articulate-360-Apps
