Menu shows a red cross for the failed Knowledge Check

So, I am working on a short module of about 8 screens. There are two knowledge checks, which are there just for a quick check (not graded ones).

If the learner fails the question, there is a red cross next to that question in the menu. Which looks a bit too negative. This was still a learning experience.

There is no way of controlling this feature. I heard there was a patch, but in my case I would need to place an IT request to have my Storyline patched, which is a pain. Would really appreciate a quick workaround.
