Mobile devices and LMS guidance
Oct 27, 2016
Good morning,
For those of you who publish to an LMS, how "complicated" are you able to be in your design? I recently reviewed some of our courses on an iPad and saw one problem after another, from part of the slide master background not showing to customized Next buttons never enabling. The advice I was given from my LMS is "no Flash, low to no interactions, and quizzes outside of the Storyline file." That seems very limiting to me for an expensive piece of software like Storyline.
I'd appreciate any thoughts on this subject. Thanks!

We use Samsung devices and the only issue I have encountered is the resume course not working and essentially locking the course.
I'm not sure if that is an issue with the SCORM or the LMS but as we build short courses that aren't locked down at all I just turn this feature off.
Thanks for weighing in, Tristan. I've encountered those few issues I mentioned above just in some initial testing. I know there are some obvious things that won't work like a hover state.
Thanks again for your response.
