Moodle supports context sensitive search?

Hello There,
I am looking into Moodle by installing 2.5 in my virtual environment. One of my purpose is to verify if Moodle supports context sensitive search, especially, after I upload hundreds of courses, how user can search the course or specific topic they are interested in (not just course title, becuase one course can include several features of one software product.), however, I do not find such feature so far.
I see there is a search box on the home page, admin can use it search course title, not content, but student seems can do nothing.
Do you have exeperience already on this?
Thank you,
Anson

I think this is something you need to ask the moodle forums. You can add contextual information to a scorm, and can add information to a course as you upload it to moodle
see here http://docs.moodle.org/20/en/Global_Search_set-up
looks like search does not cover scorms
Thank you Phil,
Seems global search feature development is put on hold now: http://docs.moodle.org/25/en/Global_Search_set-up
I also opened a post on Moodle forum, funny thing that the system blocked it as spam...
The best,
Anson
