I would like to have a drag and drop interaction that reveals each layer with every drop, and then when all layers are revealed, jump to the next slide.
I tried using variables, but it has turned into a big mess. And I don't want it to jump until they have seen all of the layers.
What is the most elegant, efficient way of doing this?
I think you can achieve your desired functionality using Storyline's built-in states and triggers. Here's a quick example and source file. Can you take a look and let me know if this is on the right track?

Hi David,
No, I don't want a test. I want just an interaction. I want 7 objects dropped on another object.
When each object is dropped, a layer is shown. When all of the layers are shown, then I want to jump to the next slide.
Alternatively, have the next button appear.
If you hide the submit button, and just have the continue button jump to the next slide, I think David's idea will work.
You can pretend it isn't a test, and if you don't tell anyone, they won't know the difference. :)

Hide the default NEXT button. Create a "next" button and have it on the final layer.
