My first published project - many hours work!
Jun 28, 2011
Well, I've finally finished my first published project. 100's of hours work!
It was for Glyndwr Uni in Wales and is designed to improve the participants enterprise skills.
It has some interesting elements - and I think some of the modules really push the boundaries.
For example, in the first module I managed to make quizmaker do a 'proper' personality test with scoring and bespoke reports!
The demo is password protected - but I think worth a look!

The password for this demo will no doubt change in the future, so - if you can't login - send an email to dan@danobrien.net and I'll send you the fresh password.
Enjoy the demo - and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. (I learned A LOT making this)

Hello - you're product is impressive.
I'm having trouble publishing my course. When I use the Publish-Web option for Articulate 09, my files do upload to my public_html/subdirectory folder, but nothing shows up on my website.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Wow, if this is your first course, I cannot wait to see what happens next. Highly engaging, quizzes are fantastic, incredible amount of detail and interaction. I think you have taken this tool to a new level!
Best of luck!
Jann

Excellent course! You really did a great job with all of the various elements and interactions. Thank you for sharing this one.
Daniel,
Are there things in particular that you feel like inspired you in the creation of this absolutely amazing course?

(Oh, hehehe, jumping a bit ahead ... sorry!)
If there's a "Community's Choice" category.... here's my vote!
Great job!
Opportunity awareness sound really scared me )
Excellent work! I am looking
Thanks for sharing your work. It inspires me on the project I'm currently working at: e-learning module for all our managers within our organization (Retail organization).
That is a great example of what being an enterprising person can get you! Great work!
thats really great... you did a wonderful job Daniel.
Goodluck and Cheers for the b est!
Congratulations on a very well designed and developed first project. Could you share with us the development time it took to develop this elearning course?
Well done!
Wow! That's great! Thanks for sharing.
Wow, tons of inspiration in here! Love it!
One of the best course layout I have seen. Wonderful... Great work.. keep it up!!
regarding this course that has been created I would Like to know some of the How to's.
In the first module self awareness quiz - personality assessment quiz. I want to know how to have those images come from left and right and then then the question and answer appear after the images.
In the life goals section how do you get the hands to hold the book and then move and with a marker paint over the text.
Module 7 action plan - i guess articulate interaction was used, but instead of vertical tabs how to get this horizontal look with teh arrows moving with the image on click.
if anyone can answer these how to it would be great
Thanks
Daniel, I'm really surprised that this is your first course. It was well thought out and the graphics and interactions are great! I've been using Articulate for about 6 months now and haven't created anything even half as good. Give yourself a pat on the back!
Colleen

Good job ! I love it !
Great job! What a way to use quizmaker. I am just starting to find my way with the products. I too would appreciate to see how you did this awesome presentation. It brought out the possibilities that you can use with articulate.
Keep up!
Wonderful. Engaging throughout. I would love you learn your process for customizing the Quizmaker report (or, barring that, where you learned how to do it).
However, as usual, people have comment on a feature that I cannot even find. What and where is the "jigsaw"?
Congratulations, molto bene.
JP
Wow, this is great. Superb use of graphics and interactions. I only wish my first Articulate course could be this good (but it is dry corporate stuff). Still it's given me plenty of ideas for the next time
Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic course. How was the jigsaw activity developed? I can see that it starts with a fill in the blanks?
