Need ideas for creating an interactive learner feedback screen at the end of the course

Feb 21, 2017

I would like to hear a few ideas on creating a screen at the end of the course to capture learner's feedback on the training. I'm looking to create an interactive screen rather than a boring survey. Please share if someone has worked on a similar concept before.

Hi Harish!

Thanks for posting your question here in the E-Learning Heroes Community. I think post course evaluations are extremely valuable for gaining important feedback, and they're great to include (I've written a few articles about them here and here), so thats really cool that you're looking to add them to your training.

I do think that using the Survey Type questions that are available in Storyline is probably your best bet for gathering this info, but survey questions don't have to be boring. In fact, with Storyline you can customize them to make them look ANY way you want them. You can turn them into a fun scenario, or jazz up your slide with animations or audio effects. The sky is the limit.

I think the most important thing here is really the questions you're asking and the feedback you're gathering, as opposed to how it looks (although that is also important). You want to try to focus on questions that can help you understand if the training has really had an impact on the bottom line for the business. Hope this is helpful :)-
