New way to share your eLearning portfolio with the community
Jan 13, 2012
Ever since Tom planted in my mind that it's never too early to create a portfolio, I've been thinking about where that might reside. Yesterday, LinkedIn solved the mystery and I've been playing around with Behance for a few hours. It's a Creative Professional Platform, where you can upload projects to showcase, including video and screen shots, and add captions describing your work. You can also tag your work. While there are no tags for eLearning, you can put that in your description. You can also add appropriate tags like "Interaction Design" or "Art Direction" or "Video Arts" to name a few that it will accept. I like the idea of a portfolio that shows just enough juicy graphics and interactions, but keeps proprietary information out of sight.
Behance also has a place where jobs are posted, and I did come across one job for Instructional Design - not a lot - but employers are posting here.
You can see some of my work here:

Enjoy!

I need to update mine. I started working with Behance on Linkedin over a year ago. It has been a wonderful addition to my resume. I copy my linkedin url and place it under my name in my resume and let them know they can view my portfolio there. Have fun with it.
Very cool! I've never seen Behance before. And Laura, your work is very nice!
Thanks CC Heim... Looking forward to seeing other portfolios.
