Notes in Articulate

Greetings all e-Learning Heroes!

Apologies if this has already been posted elsewhere. I had a look but couldn't spot anything.

I'm looking to see if Articulate has a feature where the user can make notes within the course as they go along and whenever they wish, either print, email or save them or a combination of all three.

There is a solution here: http://frameentered.com/content/articulate-printable-user-slide-notes

However, it doesn't allow for emailing of notes.

I have seen custom flash modules that have these but haven't come across Articulate with this as of yet.

I'm always grateful for your response and am eagerly looking forward to your help.

Hi Akram - 

There's no need for apologies We see that request from time to time. Note-taking and saving aren't currently supported in Studio '09. One of our MVPs, James Kingsley, created a commercial widget that enables similar functionality. You can check it out here: http://elearningenhanced.com/products/printable-user-slide-notes

Hi David,

That's super, many thanks for your response. I believe the link you provided points to the same thing I did - it charges $100 :-O

I shall submit a feature request - although, given that it's close to releasing Studio 11, is there a remote chance that it could even be implemented? Or have you heard of any whispers that it may already be in the plans?
