I've searched everywhere and don't see an answer so hopefully someone clever can help!
I'm creating a course that explains two major concepts. For the final exam, the client would like a separate score for each concept. In other words, a correct response to Q1 would earn 10 points for one concept and 7 points for the other. A correct response to Q2 might earn 0 points for one concept and 6 for the other. There are also various points for incorrect answers (no negative points). If anyone has any experience or good ideas, I'd greatly appreciate some advice. Thank you in advance.

The only thing I can think of is building the slides outside of the SL2 Quiz maker, and using variables to track it all.
Variable 1 - Concept 1 total
Variable 2 - Concept 2 total
Then, each answer will adjust the appropriate variable by X points.
Here's a very quick sample.
