I want to include 2 optional pages within a course that I cant do as layers but I am struggling with the completion as the course wont complete if the pages aren't visited but if I set the tracking to view 2 less slides, it completes too early, does anyone have any ideas?
Alternatively if you are not using SL360, you can use a blank results slide at the end (you can create/ design your last slide using blank results slide) and track the course completion when the user comes to the results slide.
If there are no questions, no marks will be submitted, but your course completion can be marked with this.

Which version of Storyline are you using? I'm wondering if there's a reason you don't use a different method to track completion of the course, for instance: https://articulate.com/support/article/storyline-360-course-completion-trigger
