Re-activate Next button when returning from Previous slide.

May 29, 2015

Hello

I have several slides throughout my project where the Next button is disabled until all interactions on a slide are complete. This works fine if the student keeps progressing through the project in a linear fashion.

However, if the Previous button is clicked to view the Previous slide, the Next button on the originating slide is disabled. I don't know how to create a trigger to cater for this scenario.

Are you able to assist?

I have attached a file that hopefully explains the difficulty.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi Anne

that's because the timeline was set to 7 secs and the trigger was set to 'change next to normal when timeline ends'.  If you don't click all the buttons by 7 secs it was triggering.

I have updated the trigger to change to normal when the state of all 'buttons' are visited.

Hope this works for you.

Anne .

Hello

I now have a new problem which I might have to contact Support about.

The Drag and Drop options is missing from the Ribbon so that I am unable to modify all the options I want for my drag and drop slides.

I opened a new blank project at the Question > Drag and drop was present. I then imported my existing project into the new project but then the Question > Drag and drop option was no longer there.

I do not have administrative right to the PC I am using so I don't want to uninstall and then re-install Articulate Storyline 2.

Do you have any idea how the Drag and Drop options can be reinstated on the Ribbon and how to keep it visible?
