I need to be able to have a .pdf document that can be tracked as read. The LMS can have it end with an electronic signature that 21 CFR 11 compliant, but I need the document to be "wrapped" in a SCORM or AICC wrapper. Anyone have any idea how to do this? Thanks!
You could insert it into a Storyline or a Rise course and add a question afterwards asking the learner if they read the PDF. This is one of those cases where you're just going to have to trust that the learner is telling the truth when they say they've read it. Even if you were able to track whether or not they scrolled all the way to the bottom, that wouldn't prove that they read it.
Another option would be to add a quiz afterwards asking them questions that they would only the answer to if they read the PDF.
Hi Allison, Kelly refers to a PDF but does your suggestion also work with a WORD document, as well.
I need to insert an link out to the URL where the documents are located and then be brought back into the course. Is that possible? We're tracking these requirements manually as of right now and would like our LMS to be utilized for the tracking of completion.
