I need my students to get feedback via the review quiz button (I am putting in review layers for each slide since these are freeform pick one questions). My students have to retake the quiz until they get 100% - trust me, this is the best way for them (many don't care what grade they get but they do care about finishing their homework quickly - makes them want to learn). However, upon the review quiz slides showing the banner at the bottom marks correct answers incorrect. I read some other discussion but I need to have this set to return to initial state don't I for the students to retake the quiz? Bad news is I was hoping to get this done for them today so I could assign it tomorrow. Thank you.

Hi Robin,

My first thought  would be to check the feedback master and make sure CORRECT feedback layer didn't somehow end up showing the INCORRECT layer.

It could as simple as going to the CORRECT layer and changing the color from red to green (or another color) on the feedback layer and work from there.

Let me know how it goes and I'll continue to help you.

GOOD LUCK!

Hi Robin

if you add a reset results trigger on the 'retry quiz' button you can then set your quiz slides to automatically decide and that should allow them to retake the quiz questions. As for the incorrect feedback layers showing I suspect that is because you have the slides set to 'reset to initial state' so when the user clicks review, the quiz slide shows but without an option selected so shows the incorrect layer.

Happy to take a look if you want to share the .story file.

Thanks to you both - I tried both ideas but still not getting the correct
behavior. Perhaps I overlooked something? I forgot that the the 360 does
not send the actual file so I am attaching it this time. Thank you both for
your time and help.

The quiz starts on the third slide - the first two are my prep slides and
more will be added. I decided to test before I got too far along.

Thanks again,
Robin

Hi Robin

I changed the 'revisit' option on the quiz slide to 'automatically decide' and it works as expected.

Also you don't need to have the quiz slide and the question bank  as that can sometimes cause issues.  If you are using a quiz bank, the quiz slide is part of that once you've added it, you don't need to have the quiz slide in the scene as well.  I would move the quiz slide to another scene or delete it once it has been added to the quiz bank. Keep backups just in case...

In any case - Sunday or Monday - I am impressed. Thank you. But I have another question - I do not know what you mean by having the quiz slide there and the question bank? Do mean just put the questions slides one right after another? Will the results and random order still work? I feel I have always been a little behind on getting my quizzes exactly where I want them. Thank you so much again! I will definitely have this ready for them tomorrow! - they actually love this type of homework over others and some ask for more as they find it helpful.

Thanks again to you both!
