RISE 360

Apr 19, 2023

Evening all. I'm new to RISE 360 and have a question l wonder if you can help me with. I need to record a video of a subject expert who is at a remote location. Do any of you know if l can do this by:

(a) Recording a TEAMS call with him and then putting that into my RISE course

(b) Asking him to record on his phone

(c) Any other way?

Much appreciated

Hi Brian,

if your recording produces an mp4, importing that into a Rise course should work just fine. When using the call recording function in MS Teams, your call should be saved to your OneDrive as a MP4 right away. However, since your own video feed or avatar picture would be included in that video as well, the end product might not be optimal.

If your expert has a Windows PC, you could just have him/her record the video using the integrated Camera function (just type "Camera" in the bottom left search bar), which is easy to use. That should produce an MP4 as well, which you can then import to your Rise course.
