Hi all, attempting to create a series of courses which provide the learner the option of recording their own video as a response to a question. The ultimate end goal would be to create a sales-call simulation experience for practice and refinement purposes.
Does anyone know if Articulate is capable of this? Or, have you attempted the same and achieved results with a different course authoring tool? My research thus far has led me to new learning management systems with their own tools embedded - if possible we would like to stick with our existing LMS.
The only way I could see this working was if your learners all had access to 3rd party tool that allows them to create a video and save it to the cloud via a link (like Peek) and then insert that link into a text field as their answer.
A few years ago we were chatting with some training folks at the Cheesecake Factory. They had a platform that allowed the end users to record videos and upload for review. They used it so receptionists could record their greetings and have other vote on them (or something like that).
Perhaps you could connect with one of their training staff on LinkedIn. I no longer have the person's name otherwise I'd get you connected.
