Scrolling panel problem
Jan 12, 2017
Hi there,
Wow, I have spent hours trying to get my scrolling panel to work. I am so frustrated. I cannot get the thumbar to scroll up and down the text. And there is a long lag to when the text appears. And it still doesn't show all of my text! I have adjusted everything and I can't seem to get it to work. I am new to scrolling panels too. Attached is my project. Thanks.

Hi Teresa,
You were almost there! Just align the text box with the upper-left corner of the scroll region. I also removed the animation. Have a look. Good luck!

Thanks Lisa! I actually wanted the text to scroll through the scrolling panel. Is that not possible? That was why I added the animation (line path).
You can use a scroll panel OR you can use an animation path to move the text automatically, but you wouldn't use both together. The scroll panel is used so the learner can proceed at their own pace. If you want it to *look* like it's scrolling, maybe you could use a slider interaction and then use triggers with your animation to move it automatically.
