Why aren't we able to use the seek bar in any of the Articulate training or webinar videos? Each time I try to go back to re-watch a specific part of the video, it starts over from the beginning.
This can frustrating for a video that is 45 minutes long.
Hey Melissa! I'm sorry to hear that's happening to you! What browser are you using? I've found that the player on the training page tends to work best with Chrome and you should be able to forward seek, speed up or slow down the video, pop it out to show as a picture-in-picture so you can view as you work, or make it full screen. One thing you might try is making it full screen and then seeing if when you hover over the video, if you get that seekbar!
If that still doesn't work, all of the recorded webinar videos have beneath them bookmarked "Objectives" that will jump ahead to a portion of the video. For example, in this video of the Articulate 360 Overview, below the video, you can jump ahead to Overview of Storyline 360 at the 22:08 mark if you click that link.
Hi Elizabeth, I'm running into the same issue and I'm using Chrome. Whether I'm viewing in Articulate or Workday after we've uploaded, users cannot navigate through the video and are kicked back to the beginning each time. I checked the Navigation settings and don't see anything that would impact this issue. What can be done?
Hi Cheryl and welcome to the community. Am I right in thinking you're asking about video playback problems in published e-learning courses rather than the tutorial videos we offer in Articulate 360 Training?
If so, could you let me know which authoring tool you're using to create the courses experiencing this issue: Storyline 360, Rise 360, or both?
