self assesment choices correctly visible
Apr 18, 2017
Hi, I made a self assesment for timemanagement. (f.e. assesmentquention: I have a good overview on my work, score 1 to 10 poissble.) I made it pretty okay and it shows the assesment choices/results right. Also when the user changes his choice. Only the visual part doesn't work right. I want to show the newly chosen assement choice/score right when the user has changed his mind and has f.e. first he has chosen score 5 and later he chooses score 6. How can I visual show that he now has chosen score 6? I can not change the state of the scorefield back to normal in state of the state selected. How do I handle this?

Hi Moniek
can you share the .story file - easier for someone to help if they can see how your file is setup.
Thanks for your quick recation. I added the technical setup, I hope it is clear, since it is very basic and translated form Dutch?
Hi Moniek
I think I understand.
Instead of setting the variable value when the user clicks the rectangle - change the trigger so it doesn't set the variable until they click opslaan button. That way they can change their mind but it won't calculate until they click that button. Make sure all the rectangle in each set have a selected state and then create a button set so that only one rectangle in each set can be in the selected state. See Here for more information about button sets.
This would be the triggers and make sure the 'set variable' triggers are above the Jump to next slide trigger.
Thank you Wendy,
You really helped me out. This "set button"-tool was exactly what I was
looking for. Never thought of!
Thank you!

Glad that will work for you Moniek...just to let you know when you reply via email your signature details are displayed in the post. If you want you can come in and click the 'edit' option to remove them if you don't want them to show publically.
Good luck with your project!
