Another week, another freebie....14 down...39 to go.
Last week I came across this e-learning challenge from David Anderson about drop down menus. It reminded me of a simulation training that I developed last year for one of my clients. One of the main struggles with simulations is that you want to use most of the screen to show a screenshot of the app so where do you leave the navigation controls.
I really like this Paul. It's a great solution to this design challenge where you really want to use all of the real estate on the screen for the training, not the navigation - I think I'm going to have to download your freebie this week to check out how you built this. Thanks!
I'm running a bit behind with these weekly challenges - but here's one for this week. Simple, but something I use a lot - a shadowed book page overlay I created in PowerPoint using gradient fill. You can use this overlay with any plain/textured paper image. The PowerPoint file includes everything you'll need to create this book image, plus you can customise the overlay to whatever colour you like. Enjoy!

Looking forward to your next 39 freebie shares.
