I am trying to add a YouTube clip so it appears on the projection screen template.
Is there any way to add a YouTube clip as a web-object that only shows the video. At the moment the whole page is showing, including the comments and associated videos. You have to scroll to get the video on the screen.
I did this. The video shows fine in the preview but when I publish it just looks like it's loading and never actually plays. Is there anyway around this?
Are you testing on the web or on your computer. Sounds like the flash cross domain security is preventing you playing the video. Try publishing to CD and the run the .exe file
You really shouldnt publish to a network drive, I would always publish to my desktop.
Flash security will prevent cross domain activity e.g. network drive and internet (your youtube video).
If you plan to test a course you should always test it how you plan to deploy it, so if you want to use it on the web, test it on the web.
If you plan to deploy it from your network drive then it is likely the youtube video will never work.
To view a course from your network drive and circumvent the flash security then publish to CD and click on the .exe file this will circumvent the flash security and play as if it has been deployed on the web your youtube video should then play
@Will: If you are embedding, I don't think there is a way to force the video to start without the user clicking it themselves. If you drop in an MP4, you'll be able to control it the way you are asking.

Hi Mathew, if you chose, insert video from website and include the embed code it will only insert the video

Can you add anything to the embedded code to set the video to start playing as soon as the slide opens?
... and auto advance when "media is complete"?
