I am technically proficient in using Articulate 360 and have developed some pretty cool courses, mainly using Storyline. However, as a guy who has trouble matching his socks in the morning, I struggle with color schemes, screen layout, and general graphic design principles in course design.
Although my courses function well and are generally well received, I can tell the look/feel of my courses could be greatly improved. However, I am not sure where to go to get training to improve my design skills.
While it's not training, Connie Malamed's book Visual Design Solutions has been really helpful to me. It covers all the basic visual design principles that you can find in many sources, but all of the examples are related to elearning.

Thank you, Christy! I've ordered the book.
