What are some of your favorite transitional words and phrases to use when writing for eLearning?
I'm exploring effective words to use to provide coherence and to indicate a change in thought, idea, discussion, etc. and I'd like to learn what other professionals use. (I understand the terminology is different depending on the content.)
For instance, when teaching a procedure, I like to use: "Here are the steps to..." and "Now let's look at how to..."
I'm a Captivate user, but the tips you share here are wonderful and applicable to my workflow. The Articulate Community seems worlds apart from the Cp community, certainly friendlier and less competitive.
Yes, there really is a sense of respect, comradarie and even compassion. The Community is so willing to share and help other users solve their problems, no matter how specific or time-consuming.

In systems training, because of the many steps that are involved, I just avoid Next, Now, etc. I just use a simple declarative statement.
