I am wanting to see if there is a way to offer a test out option for a Curriculum? I have searched for a solution only to find an older thread for a single course, not a curriculum, but I want to accomplish the same end result. The user can attempt the test out option; if they pass, they are done, if they fail, they must take the entire curriculum including the final test.
It sounds like this is something you would have to set up in your LMS. So depending on what LMS you're using, it may or may not be possible. I would get in touch with your LMS provider.

That being said, you are likely going to want to build a "stand alone" quiz for any of the solutions. The key is find out if you need to use your LMS's internal quizzing tool or if you can use an authoring tool such as the Articulate products. The latter of course allows you to build much more engaging and instructionally sound tests, but some LMS platforms will only allow you to trigger additional enrollment/completion results if using their internal quizzes.
Once you know this, you can explore the ways your LMS might support your goal. Some allow for a "this or that" sort of approach, where you can have two paths to curriculum completion. Some allow for triggered enrollments where you are enrolled in X if you pass, or Y if you don't. These are the two most common ways to do what you are trying to accomplish.... hopefully your LMS platform supports one or the other.
