Text animations - need helpl

Jul 19, 2011

Hi,

I would love to animate my text like in the e-Mersion Diabesity Course at http://www.articulate.com/community/showcase/.  The text comes in one letter at a time along with the narration.  How do you do that?  I should add that I did not record narration in Presenter with each slide - I inserted a video clip of the presenter for each slide.

Does anyone know how to do this?

i know of at least two ways

The first

  1. Select the desired animation for the text.
  2. In the animation pane select all the animated text.
  3. Right click and enter advanced timeline
  4. go to the text tab and you have the option to go by word or letter or paragraph etc...

The second

it looks like many of the words are individual text boxes layered for design. All you need to do is animate the individual text boxes.

Have fun and hope this helps.

My Q in reference to  Zara's entry (as copied below):

The first

  1. Select the desired animation for the text.
  2. In the animation pane select all the animated text.
  3. Right click and enter advanced timeline
  4. go to the text tab and you have the option to go by word or letter or paragraph etc...

My Q: Where is the animation pane and advanced timeline?
