Tracking by slide

Oct 16, 2017

Hello everyone,

I would like to know if it is possible to identify the slides of the questions in order to obtain information specific to each slide.

As part of creating my evaluations, my client would like to know, or learners have good or bad.

Each of my questions corresponds to a knowledge, or a good practice.
What we would like is to know what knowledge is understood and what knowledge is not understood, therefore to learn or relearn.

Thank you for your future leads.

Dave.

Hi Dave,

Do you mean that you want to be able to track learners' responses to each individual question? If so, then yes, you can do that with our tools -- as long as you have an LMS that allows you to view that information. Here's some more detailed information about what information Storyline sends to your LMS. I hope that answers your question. If not, let me know. :)

Interesting question - not so much on identifying the slide, which Allison provided one answer, but I am interested in how you determine what "knowledge" is being learned via your assessment questions. You also equate knowledge and good practice as equal value for your client even though these are very different. Most questions in elearning are more about information, facts and memorized responses that may lead to good practices but not necessarily knowledge. Can you share 1-2 question types that you have written that probes knowledge?. How do you intend to probe knowledge, which has prior experiences as a component? Have you looked at the reports generated by the Results screen - tell us what additional info you/client might need? Thanks. Sorry to ask a long question about your question.

Hello David,

I work for a company that produces information protection awareness modules.

We have therefore put in place a referential of good practices, which includes the knowledge and good practices.

Knowledge example: The USB key of a third party is likely to aspirate certain contents of your computer without you noticing it

Example of good practices: DO NOT CONNECT ANY THIRD-PARTY TOOL (KEY OR CHARGER) TO YOUR COMPUTER

That would be something you'd need to ask your LMS provider. I'm not sure what moodle's capabilites are in regards to question by question reporting. Maybe someone else in the community knows and will help you out there.

I'm not sure what you mean by "other resources to put this procedure in place"? Could you clarify?
