I uploaded a powerpoint presentation to Storyline 2. While previewing the slides, I noticed that some of my slides are playing out of order because of how Storyline number it. I've tried rearranging the slides in story view as well as in player but the numbers don't change. I have to manually direct the "next" trigger to go to the slide I want. Is there an easier way to update the slide numbers?

When you import slides from Powerpoint into Storyline 2, Storyline respects whatever slide order or branching you had in place in Powerpoint .
The order of the slides won't be affected by changing the player menu order. Changing them in the menu only changes their order in the menu. Similarly, you can remove a slide from the menu without removing it from the course.
Changing the order of slides in Story View can affect the playback order for slides using the default previous and next triggers, but if the previous or next buttons are set to jump to specific slides, reordering them in Story View won't change that and you'll need to tweak the triggers.
