Using Final Cut Pro? Anybody in Seattle interested in Consulting?

Jul 13, 2011

Hello Out There,

I'm an educational video producer and editor who produces traditional linear based video training programs for public school teachers. I work strictly in Apple's Final Cut Pro editing software.  My client who is based in Seattle Washington wants to use Articulate Online to create online learning programs using our vast library of finished programs. I have many questions about how Final Cut works in conjunction with Articulate Online and was wondering if anyone could point me in a direction of someone who might be able to answer my questions.  Additionally do you know of anyone in the greater Seattle area who works with Articulate Online who would be interested in doing some consulting work to help us learn how to use the software and build a trial program.

Any contacts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

David

David,

If the output of Final Cut Pro is swf or flv, then they can be imported into Articulate.  It you're not aware, Articulate is a plug in to Powerpoint and Articulate Online is a hosting service for the published courses.  Take a look at some of the examples on the website.  This will give you an idea.

Hopefully this is helpful.
