I'm new at Storyline. A client wants to post an interactive organization chart on their website. Based on what type of stakeholder a person is, they would enter a password that fits that category. The chart would then reveal a layer with links tailored to that group, or even individual.
Can I set up variables to function based on a password structure? How?
Yes you can do this quite easily, but it will depend on what you want them to see throughout the course. You will need to know all the various passwords that might be used. Each password/variable can determine which layers of content they see, which slides they see, where they branch too, even which state of an object they might see.
I've created a quick example for you to take a look at and explore. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Hi, Tracy! This is a really easy example to follow of password-controlled variable branching and state changes. Thanks for creating and sharing!
