Using Rise for synchronous course delivery with interactions in MS Teams

Nov 13, 2023

I'm embarrassed to admit how long I've been at this, but I'm finally admitting defeat and hope someone can instruct me on how I can make my Rise course (or individual Storyline blocks) presentable in an MS Teams meeting so that all learners can collaborate on the interactions.
For example I want everyone to drag and drop dots onto faces representing how their feeling and I want that done on my main presenter screen for all to see.
Crossing my fingers and holding my thumbs that this is possible and BIG thanks for any help!

Rise and Storyline aren't designed for that kind of live collaborative work.

Since you're using MS Teams, have you looked at the built-in whiteboard? That seems like a possible option.

If that won't work for what you need, you can research whiteboard and collaboration apps like Miro, Mural, and Whimsical as alternative possibilities.  You could also look at tools like Slido and Mentimeter that are designed for live polls and interactions in synchronous sessions.

Ahhhh Christy Tucker!! I LOVE your branching scenarios, I'm starstruck!

I really appreciate the advice, at least now I can just stop trying. I will settle for whiteboard or annotations and try to be satisfied knowing I made cool things even if no one gets to see them ;)

Thanks so much for your prompt and knowledgeable help!
