Hi everyone! I've found a couple threads on this topic but no definitive answer yet.
I've set up a simple motion path that will execute once the timeline starts (at the beginning of the slide). I want to design the rest of the slide with the object in its new position, but when I click outside the motion path, it shows in its original position.
How do I get the object to show only in its new position so I can design the rest of my content?
Thanks for this, Tom! I've been reading older posts and knew there had to be a much simpler answer. It would still be great to be able to find the XY position of the end point if you start the motion path from the object's original position.

Thanks Tom. How do I "create crosshairs with the drawing guides"?
Right click and show the guides. You can also go to View and select the
guides. Then grab the guides and drag them.
