Hi all wondering what others are doing with VR. I just did a demo Rise course with VR content. Being a first, everything is demo content. I'm working on other ideas. The possibilities are endless :-)
Hey Maxwell! VR training is a huge passion project of mine - I'd be very curious to learn about how you executed this! Can you share a sample by chance?
Thank you, Allison. I built the VR content in InstaVR and iframed the URL in H5P before embedding in Rise. There is an option to get the embed code in the paid version of InstaVR but using free version so had to do work-around.
Here is a quick guide on how I did it, if anyone is interested
Hi Dan, it is exciting and I'm looking to delve deeper into it. Meanwhile, here's a guide on how I did it. If you have any questions feel free to get in touch.
Awesome work guys, I am trying to use Unity and Vuforia to see if I can create a storyline branched scenario similar to 57 Degrees North. Thought it would be a highly engaging/novel way to sell an idea to stakeholders.
I have used VR a couple of times in moodle courses. Love the fact that you are trying to implement it to Rise. I'd definitely give it a shot when I find some free time.
I see Captivate 2019 is starting to introduce VR images so you can add hotspots - I use a Samsung Gear 360 and would love this feature in Articulate 360, is it in your future plans? @articulate

My partner and I are looking at using VR/ augmented reality but had not gone so far as to try to include it in course yet.
I agree with you the possibilities are exciting and endless.
Would be great to start a discussion on this or connect in some other forum.

That is super cool, Maxwell! How did you embed it into Rise?

Thanks.
I would certainly love to connect, Sandi. Did you have a specific forum in mind or were you thinking of a new discussion here?
Kuula is another cloud-based solution for interactive 360 degree interactions. I did a quick test, see here.
Here are some other options that I had tested with RISE.
Hey Michael, those are cool examples. I will definitely check out Kuula.

Very helpful! This was much easier than I had expected. Excited to see how I can incorporate this into a course.
Sounds like fun. Feel free to share demo when you get it done
I'm glad you found it helpful, Michael.
