Allow Forward Seeking on Video Block Isn't Working
I am trying to allow people to fast-track through videos. I have the settings correct to "Allow Forward Seeking" but when I try it, it still doesn't let me or when I preview it, it doesn't work. I'm not sure if there is another setting I'm missing, but I can't seem to get it to work.

I'm experiencing the same issue as well. I tried it in different browsers and cleared my cache and the forward seeking is not working.

After much testing, the issue for me has been tracked down to Cisco Secure Gateway stopping the forward seek.
We added articulateusercontent.com to the SSL decryption exemption, and it seems to scrub again in Chrome and Edge.
I have included a note on this on my support ticket.

I'm experiencing the same issue forward seeking doesn't work on Chrome or Edge but does work fine on Firefox . I have tried on two Windows 11 Dell laptops on work and guest WIFI networks. I get the issue with the default drone clip so it is not an encoding issue. I have tried clearing cache and disabling extensions. When I logged this as support ticket the agent was not able to reproduce the issue. I have two accounts one in US data centre and one in the EU and I get the same error in both accounts. I do get a JavaScript error on Chrome and Edge..
[Violation] Forced reflow while executing JavaScript took 30ms

VM1193 c92c4ae81205261be9b4.js:1684 [Violation] 'requestAnimationFrame' handler took 4975ms
One of the laptops has 32 GB of Ram and Nvidia graphics card the other is only 16GB with built in graphics so it doesn't look like a hard ware issue.

This is happening to me and multiple colleagues as well. It wasn't previously an issue we'd encountered until sometime in June, now all the uploaded videos in all the modules will not allow forward seeking regardless of the setting.
So far I've been able to get it working in Firefox, but not in Chrome or Edge. Clearing the cache didn't fix it. Incognito mode didn't work. All browsers are up to date with the latest versions.Hi JohnathanSalter!
Sorry to hear you're having trouble with video playback, from your Rise 360 course!
I see that you've also opened a support case and have been troubleshooting with my colleague, Luiza. It looks like she just replied to your e-mail, sharing insight and next steps to try.
We can continue the conversation through your case to keep all information in one spot.

I've had this exact issue for well over a year now. Very frustrating when you've nearly finished watching the video then whoops, back to the beginning you go! I have submitted a support case so hopefully it'll get sorted.
Hi, MegMcCoy!
I seem my teammate, Robby, replied in your support case with additional troubleshooting questions. We can continue the conversation there to keep all information in one place!
Hi @LanceMosley,
Happy to check this for you!
I tested this on my end, and the option to allow forward seeking worked as expected. It would be helpful if we could see a video of how you're testing your course to help us better understand what's happening. Would you be willing to make a Peek 360 recording of the issue for us? Kindly include which browsers you used in your tests so we can troubleshoot the behavior as accurately as possible.

Here's the link to the Peek 360 for the issue. I'm using Google Chrome as my browser. I did it in the Edit state and the Preview state, and it doesn't allow forward seeking.

I appreciate the additional information. As a troubleshooting step, please try the following:
- Use Google Chrome's incognito mode to test the issue. This will ensure that the behavior isn't being caused by an active add-on that's running in the browser.
- Clear your browser's cache
- Use a different browser, such as Microsoft Edge or Mozilla Firefox.
If the issue persists, please open a case with our support team here to connect with a support engineer for additional troubleshooting.

Hello,
Commenting as I'm experiencing the same issue, enabling forward seeking does not allow the users to play the videos in 1.25x speed or 1.5x speed, where would this setting be? JoseTansengco
