Audio playback problems

I used the text-to-speech function in Storyline for several projects.

In some of the projects, when I publish to Review 360 the audio doesn't play initially. If I navigate forward-back or back-forward (using the player navigation), it plays again.

I tried republishing and am still getting the same issue. Help!

I’m experiencing a similar issue. When I publish a course on Review360, some users are unable to hear the audio on any of the slides. We’ve tried multiple troubleshooting steps, but the problem persists.

Interestingly, if the same course file is published by another person or on a different machine, the issue still remains. However, when we publish the same file as a Web or SCORM version, the audio works perfectly.

I tested this with 20 reviewers, and 4 of them reported that they couldn’t hear any sound. This seems to be specific to Review360 and not related to the course content or publishing method.

Hi Sagar_Mavale! It sounds like this issue only occurs when publishing the course to Review 360. Does the same behavior occur with other courses that you are publishing to Review 360? If you can share either the Review 360 link or the .story file, we'd be happy to test it on our end and troubleshoot from there.

  • Not sure which one of us you directed this to, however I fixed it by unistalling the latest update and went back one. Now everything is working fine.

  • I can easily see this being a timeline issue or a layer issue, if not something else. Can you provide any detail or a file?

  • I am dealer with this issue now. I went to publish in Review, and my presentation froze up after about 2 minutes. I put a case and was told the standard keep files on our hard drive. This didn't fix the issue. Then I was told to try a fix by removing the program, reboot my computer, reinstall the program, reboot again. This hasn't worked either.

Currently I have uninstalled the program, rebooted, installed the July version, rebooted again.

As I write this my presentation is currently running in Published for LMS Review fine, I'm at 15 minutes and 7 slides. I'll send this back to customer support.
