Can we have version control option in rise?

Hello Team,

Is there any feasibility in rise to track the version update changes? The reason is, we download the final scorm package and deploy that in our LMS. After few months,  if we receive any changes from the stakeholders, then we used to make the changes and deploy the build again in LMS. But, Our stakeholder's want to see the version changes also? Is there any option  available in rise? Please confirm.

    Hi,
Please can I add to the request for Version control.
I have just accidently lost a whole section of a course and it is only because \I ha the wording saved for translations, that I can replace it exactly as it was.

  • Yes, it would still be helpful. I.e. in the ISO9001 audit, it's requested to know "Which version of the training did they get in 2018, 2019,...".
Currently we export the courses as PDF files to have the old version still available and compare the content to a newer version.
Having this available in articulate would still be great! :)

  • Version control and a directory system would be super helpful for enterprise level teams. Is there a place to formalize this request?

  • Hello, I said this in a different thread on a similar topic. I would really like the ability to see versions or track changes in Rise.

  • Hello, Subha. Thanks for your question! We're tracking requests for version control in Rise 360. I'll tag this discussion so we can update you with any changes.

Hi Alyssa, are there any news on this? Is there any place where we can add our vote to this feature request?

Rise in itself does not have version tracking like MS Word where you can track all the changes that were made.

You can try publishing your courses to Articulate Review and then compare different versions of your courses.
