Freeform drag and drop not working Surface Pro
Hi. I have a freeform drag and drop built in Storyline 360. It is working fine on a computer and iPad, however when I test it on a Microsoft Surface Pro in IE or Edge using the touchscreen it doesn't work at all. You can only move the drag item about half a cm and then it gets stuck and the whole screen starts to move when you put your finger on the screen. The drag and drop did work using the touchscreen in Chrome.
The drag and drop does work in the browsers when using a mouse but we would like it to work through the touchscreen as well. Is there a fix for this?
Hi everyone,
I have some great news to share! We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 77, we've included important fixes and new features.
One of the bugs we've fixed is:
- Sliders and dials didn't work on touchscreen devices.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you need additional help!
Hi, Nisha. Thanks for reaching out about this behavior! I'm so sorry you're running into this problem.
We've identified an issue where the entire screen moves when dragging objects in a drag & drop and touch slider interaction when using a Surface Pro. We're investigating why this is happening, and we'll share more insight once we nail down the culprit.
Are you able to share your .story file with us? Your description seems to match the bug report, but we're happy to confirm that and share our findings with you!

Hi Katie. Sorry for the late reply, I missed your response and just saw it now. Unfortunately due to client confidentiality, I can't share the file with you.
I would greatly appreciate if you could let me know when you have an update on this bug.
No worries, Nisha! Appreciate you circling back, and I completely understand. Our Support Engineers keep all files confidential and are happy to sign an NDA – of course, if that works for you and your client!
While I don't have an update to share today, I promise we'll keep you in the know about any new information regarding this behavior when using a Surface Pro. Here's an inside look at how we tackle bugs once they're reported!

Hi, any updates on this issue?
Hi there, Poe. I don't have an update yet. What version of Surface Pro are you using?

I am also still waiting on a fix for this issue. Surface Pro 3. Open case #01424938 from July of 2018. Storyline files were given to reproduce issues, and were confirmed.
Was told to use keyboard and mouse as workaround or use flash version with re-installing triggers. Reinstalling triggers didn't work as said.
Unfortunately, telling our clients to use a mouse and keyboard on a device with a touchscreen sound absurd to them. And I would tend to agree.
Any update would be great. Hi Cameron,
Thanks for sharing your case number, and I was able to find the bug you worked on with Abel too. I don’t currently have any updates, but you are now subscribed to this conversation which means as we share updates here, you’ll automatically be notified.
Please let me know if I can help with anything else.

Good morning, Zi!
We're still looking into these behaviors, and we'll share an update in this discussion as soon as we know more. Thanks for bearing with us!
In the meantime, could I grab your version of Storyline and Surface Pro?
Hi Zi!
Oh no, it looks like your contact information came through to the forums instead of the attachment!
Could you click this link to open our conversation and use the Add Attachment button to include the Surface Pro 4 specs in your reply? You can also edit your signature in the previous reply if you'd like!
