Fully Customized Player
We need to create a module with the slide layout shown in the attachment. How do we create such a player? Can you help us with the approaches? Do we need to use JavaScript? Do we need to use an HTML shell? How do we make it fully customized, as shown in the image? It would be great if it were detailed enough so that we can create it in a minimum time frame.
I am attaching the HTML code that we used to wrap the player inside.

Hi, did anyone find a way to make it so that returning to the pre-test (created in SL) from the Rise menu doesn't restart?

The instructions in TIP: Build a Rise Course with a Pretest | Articulate - Community call for turning off the menu.
After I did that post, someone pointed out that a Storyline block always restarts when the learner returns to a lesson. A learner can't return to the lesson with the pre-test if they navigate to the content right away. However, if they exit the course immediately after the pre-test and then relaunch it, they would be able to retake the pre-test. That caveat was added to the original post in January 2024.

Thank you Judy. That fixed the issue. I agree there must have been a programming change because the course did work when I created it earlier this year. I really appreciate your help.

I think some programming has changed in Rise since I originally posted the pretest demo a few years ago. Adding a Rise Quiz will no longer work with the navigation turned off.
To include a final quiz, do this:
- Create the quiz in Storyline.
- On the Success layer of the Results slide, add a "Complete course" trigger that runs when the timeline of the layer starts.
- Publish the quiz to Review 360 with the Tracking set to Complete course trigger.
- In Rise, insert the quiz in a Storyline block.
- To ensure the user passes the quiz, add a Continue block that requires them to complete the Storyline block.
FYI: I updated the Rise course with a pretest in Review to include this info.

Wondered if JudyNollet , who posted the original Tip, might be able to share insight here.
