In Storyline can you globally change the font in Notes tabs only?
Hi! Apologies if this is answered elsewhere in the forum, but I couldn't find it and was spending too much time looking. In Storyline, is it possible to globally change the font in all my slides' Notes tab without changing what's on the body of the slides themselves? I imported a PPT file and based on forum tutorials, I knew my fonts might come in a bit wonky--which they did. I'm just hoping there's a quick an easy way of cleaning them up rather than going to each Notes tab of each slide individually for each of my three modules.
Does creating a Theme include the ability to specify the font/sizing for the Notes tab? I didn't see the Notes tab mentioned in the Theme instructions, but maybe I missed that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hello all!
Good news! In Storyline 360 (Build 3.85.31840.0), you can now instantly update the formatting of all slide notes in your project.
From here, all you need to do is update Storyline 360 in your Articulate 360 desktop app!
If you run into any issues, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Support team in a support case.
Hi, Pierre!
Thanks for checking in on this and I'm glad to see you're a fan of our feature roadmap. We haven't forgotten about this request and will be sure to update this thread when we have news to share.

How long does a feature have to be repeatedly requested for it to be added as a feature!?

New project, same problem.
This time I've been given a PowerPoint to make into a Storyline project. Some of the PPT notes had copy. As a result, script copy pasted into those slide's notes are now unlinked from the rest of the project and have to be individually found and manually corrected to the smaller, less legible default text. Alternatively, I can go into all 99 slides and update them manually.

New project, same problem.
I have 38 slides which need to be hand-edited. I did not pick font-size 9, and the previous developer decided to change the font type and size on some, but not all, slides.
38 times I have to select a font. 38 times I have to set a font size. 38 times I have to change paragraph spacing. 38 times I have to add space after a paragraph.

I know your pain. 😠Was over 100 slides in my project. Same reason - updating someone else's work.

WHY won't Articulate put this as a priority CR? Articulate, please, we ALL want/need this functionality!

Hi Pierre and Angela,
I understand how this can be frustrating. I tested this on a sample Storyline project to see if using the Format Painter can be a possible workaround, but that functionality is not available with the Notes pane.
You'll be one of the first to know once this feature makes it to our roadmap. Again, my apologies for the trouble this has caused in your workflow!

What would be a significant help is if text styles were available in the notes section, and would automatically update when changes were made to the style. We could also use more than 1 "hyperlink" style. A holistic review of that mechanism would be the optimal answer.

Definitely need more than one hyper;ink style

Please add this function to globally change the Notes text!

Oh good, Articulate will soon release Articulate AI with video! Now we too can have uncanny rubber people lecture at our learners. Learners definitely won't notice, especially as training loads increase to fill workers' time for the validation of management. I'm so excited to know anybody will be able to craft an interactivity, and I trust management to rely on their employees with actual knowledge of learning theory rather than just doing it themselves.
Meanwhile, globally changing the notes is not possible.

You set it up to work with styles! Hooray! This is so refreshing. Now I can build a process into my workflow so reduce issues in the future. I can experiment with ways to quickly address courses poorly built by my predecessors. I love it!
Hi Pierre!
Thank you for sharing the feedback! So glad to hear you are as excited about this feature as we are!
Have a great rest of your week!
