LMS marking as complete

Hello everyone, we are having problems with Rise 360 lessons that are not marking as complete in LMS (SAP) when the learning user completes the course. we cannot seem to replicate the issue in SuccessFactors. It does not affect every user just some.

Is anyone eles having or had this problem?

  • Hi Blair!

I'm sorry to hear that your Rise course is not marking as complete in your LMS.  I would suggest troubleshooting your file in SCORM Cloud to check if the behavior is the same. SCORM Cloud is an industry-standard testing engine that's free.

This video tutorial demonstrates how to use SCORM Cloud with Articulate content.
You'll also find some helpful LMS-troubleshooting tips here.

If your course works properly in SCORM Cloud but not in your LMS, kindly a support case with your LMS provider to troubleshoot the issue. Please share your SCORM Cloud findings with them.

If the behavior is the same in SCORM Cloud and your LMS, please open a case with us.

  • We are experiencing this issue too.

Originally we experienced this issue with SCORM 1.2 and then we changed to SCORM 2004 standard having built the courseware using Articulate Storyline - still experienced the issue.  So we have completely rebuilt our packages a third time using Articulate Rise 360 and this time expored to our LMS using xAPI (Tin Can).  Sadly - we have now had a couple of examples of users progress not being saved and/or completion status not being triggered in LMS.

Hi Anthony, can you try testing your course in SCORM Cloud and see if you can replicate the issue?  If you still experience the issue in SCORM Cloud, we'd be happy to take a closer look at the issue.  Please send us a copy of your published file.  You can upload it privately using this form. Our team will work with you directly to troubleshoot this issue.
