Missing correct/incorrect response boxes in review mode

I am building a multiple pick quiz  slide from the freeform quiz template.  I have 10 clickable item choices, you must choose the correct 5.  All works well, the response layers appear correctly for all slides , the freeform slide included, and the learner makes it to the final score screen. But when the learner hits review quiz  , which is set to display the response layers in review, all slides do show the response layer, except the slide created with the freeform quiz slide template. ???? (The revisiting function is set the same for all slides.) What am I missing please?

  • Hi Robert!

Thank you for sharing these details with us! I'm happy to help. Are you finding the freeform quiz question doesn't appear when reviewing, or does it appear when reviewing it's just showing the wrong layer? If it's the latter, what layer is shown?

With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your .story file. You can either attach it to this discussion or upload it to me in a support case. I'll keep you updated on my findings!

Robert, what did you find out? I'm having the same issue.

I can tell that I'm able to adjust the "Post-quiz review" feedback; however, I need a "correct  picture" to show instead of the user's incorrect selections within a picture.

  • Hi Kris,

Thanks for reaching out! Since a freeform question slide could include varying shapes, sizes, and setups, there isn't a way for a correct answer to appear during a quiz review.

I recommend taking advantage of a Review layer that only appears during quiz review. That will allow you to customize how the slide looks, including highlighting the correct picture.

Take a look and let us know if it helps!
