Module depends on pre-test
Hello, I would like to build a learning object, where a pre-test is carried out first. There is a question about every chapter. If the question is answered correctly, the section can be skipped. Triggers are now to be installed so that the learners are led directly to the required sections. For example: question 1 and question 5 were answered incorrectly - the learner should go directly to chapter 1 and then to chapter 5. I don't know how to make this. Can someone please help me?

Hi Franziska!
Thanks so much for reaching out regarding what you'd like to achieve in your course. I see that you've opened a support case and are working with my colleague Mick. You're in great hands.
We'll continue the conversation over in your case.
Have a great day!

Hi Folks - we have been creating courses like these for the past few years and I would love to see what other learners have been doing because honestly it is a ton of work writing customized java script to calculate and report scores to the LMS but this is a technique many of our clients have demanded for quite some time. Reporting is where the biggest problems seems to come into play - how to report only answered questions and eliminate the unanswered ones. Is there any further development on this topic besides going it alone?
Hello ValeriaVillarro,
I’m sorry to hear about the trouble with LMS reporting. Franziska’s case above involves a pre-test in which the learner skips some questions. Please let me know if you have the same setup.
I understand that you’d like to report only answered questions and eliminate the unanswered ones. Skipped questions are considered unviewed, but unviewed and unanswered questions are treated differently. When you score only the questions learners view, they won’t be penalized for questions they don’t see. However, if learners visit questions and then skip them without answering, those questions will count against their quiz scores.
Can you share whether your course involves unviewed or unanswered questions? If it involves unanswered ones, I suggest testing your published course at SCORM Cloud and comparing the results with your LMS to rule out an LMS issue.
If it works at SCORM Cloud, we recommend opening a support case with your LMS provider to troubleshoot the issue. If your course doesn’t work correctly at SCORM Cloud, please send us your project file for review. We’re happy to help!
