Poorly Aligned Focus Highlight (JAWS and NVDA Screen Readers), Wrapping Text
Hi User02EPL-48642!
Sorry to hear you're having issues with screen reader alignment when using the "fade by paragraph" animation, in Storyline!
Fortunately, the animation does not interfere with a screen reader's ability to read the text. This isn't a skill issue, as I'm able to replicate the same behavior after publishing your file to Review 360; and testing with the current versions of JAWS and NVDA.
Visual focus indicators while using a screen reader depend on end-user settings, so not all learners will encounter this behavior. I agree that the inconsistency may be related to a bug, and I've filed a bug report so our team can investigate this further. I've linked this discussion to the bug report so we can notify you of any developments!
Also, since text boxes aren't interactive, this isn't technically a Focus Order or visible focus indicator issue. From an accessibility conformance perspective, this inconsistency shouldn't stop you from using the Storyline animation you prefer. However, if creating an accessible course is your main goal, please keep in mind that automatic movement, like this animation, could cause challenges for some learners, such as triggering vertigo, or being distracting to those with cognitive disabilities.
Please let me know if you have any more questions!
