Review 360 forcing all reviewers to create accounts (even when I tell it not to)

When I sent a Review 360 link to a client to review, and I select the "Allow users without Articulate IDs to comment" option, Articulate still forces all users to login, or create an account and login.

Even after the prompt that says "Enter Email to add comments" it still forces me to the login screen, and does NOT allow my anonymous user to leave comments.

Very embarrassing for me sending this to a client for review. Why is this not working as described?

  • It will require them to enter their email even if you choose "Allow users without Articulate IDs to comment". So, no anonymous feedback.

Is that the experience they are getting?

Ah, my use of "anonymous" above was not accurate. I'm fine with the requirement of them providing their email address, but after that the system then FORCES them to the account login screen to either login or create the account. And the system does NOT allow them to enter comments.

I didn't believe this until I tried it myself, and it forced me to the login screen.

  • I am having the same issue, except it is isolated to only one SME. She is prompted to create an account, and is unable to comment in review. Please advise.

      Hi Tonya!

Thanks for reaching out! If your SME has previously created an Articulate ID or had a trial, then the system will recognize the email and ask them to log in. Do you know if they've already created an Articulate ID?

The alternative would be to either choose the "Forgot Password" option if they don't remember their login credentials, or they can use another email address that isn't attached to an Articulate ID.

  • We have the same issue.  We took one license and gave it to a different person, but still want to send courses to its original owner for review.  Is there a way to reset this so that it does not happen?
